In 2003 Classic Amplification started working on what has evolved into our Classic VibeTM and Vibe-BabyTM pedals. Our Vibe-BabyTM is a self contained pedal with no need for a separate box and pedal as did the original uni-vibe, which makes for a much less crowded pedal board.
Most musicians using a vibe typically want to set it, then apply with the In/Out switch to add the effect as needed as one would do with our Classic VibeTM, while other musicians still prefer the old way, to be able to control the effects Speed from the expression pedal (like the original) so we offer our Vibe-BabyTM for those who prefer that kind of operation, and want the best sounding vibe available under their foot.

it was a 2-piece system and the main unit was a very large pedal-board hog:
The heart-n-soul of our Vibe-BabyTM and Vibe-Baby ProTM expression pedals, is the same all-transistor circuitry as our Classic VibeTM. Both pedals faithfully follow the original audio path circuitry in two versions, standard vintage and "Pro" models.
Vibe-BabyTM which is the standard vintage style build using electrolytic coupling capacitors in the audio path, mylar and ceramic phase capacitors and modern Cliff®/Neutrik® jacks.
Vibe-Baby ProTM built with high performance components including all poly-film capacitors (no electrolytics) in the audio path, low noise metal film resistors, and Switchcraft® style jacks, for stage or studio.
Both versions have traditional toe-down (wah style) true-bypass switching, the Pro model is also fitted with a heel-down oscillator "cancel" switch.
The Speed is controlled by the foot treadle, the Depth/Intensity control on the side. Chorus/Vibrato mini-toggle switch on the top right in front of the pedal rocker is easily seen from the standing position.
Powered by a wall-wart type power-pack (supplied for USA orders), for our international customers we have included a -$10 discount in their purchase price and you need to purchase a power-pack suitable for your country's mains voltage and wall socket configuration.

Just some notes and harmonics with lots of air so you hear the Vibe-Baby's "swirl".
On our Vibe-Baby ProTM model, we have added an LED indicator to the heel area after requests from professional customers. Located where it can be seen when a player steps away from the pedal board to play. When the LED is off it indicates the pedal is in "true bypass" mode and the circuit is completely removed from the audio signal path, when the effect is engaged the LED comes on and shows which mode the pedal is in, Green indicating Chorus mode, Red indicating Vibrato mode.

You can tweak the Vibe-BabyTM and Vibe-Baby ProTM pedal to suit your tone preference with the adjustment trimmer inside the pedal. Adjusting the bias of the LFO/LDR drive circuitry enables you to dial-in different vibe tones from this pedal, you can set it for a nice rounded-swirl all the way to a boomerang-whiplash tone or anywhere in between. We ship the pedal with this trimmer pre-set to provide an original/stock vibe tone as you would expect.

For those into DIY looking to purchase a ready-to-solder PCB, we do not offer PCB's or layout files.
We do however offer a pre-wired assembly you can install yourself into your own wah-shell and save some cash by supplying your time and labor. Our Vibe-BabyTM drop-in assembly's are sold fully assembled, tested and tuned.

Both boards come with basic layout, mini-toggle, true bypass footswitch, 50K Intensity pot, special 100K dual-pot, Jacks, but you must re-use your pot-gear from your wah.
